The Innovation Spectrum™ Model© highlights a key systematic processes we use to achieve profitable results for clients through innovation. This process has a proven track record, and has been successful in a number of challenging situations. Our collective experience base of over fifty years developing innovative consumer products and packages indicates that use of a systematic process, such as described in the The Innovation Spectrum™ Model©, significantly increases the likelihood of success. Use of this approach has succeeded in situations where other approaches (or lack of an approach) have failed. Outlined below is an overview of the components of the The Innovation Spectrum™ Model©:

  • Leverage Insights - The foundation of the The Innovation Spectrum™ Model© involves developing and leveraging critical insights. This entails an in-depth examination (or "mining") of the available information to develop important learnings that lead to critical insights. Sometimes, during the "mining" stage, it’s determined that the available information is insufficient to develop the critical insights necessary to ensure success. In those situations, we draw on a number of possible methods to quickly and cost effectively close crucial information gaps, rather than jeopardize the success of the project at the onset.
  • Synthesize Opportunities - The Innovation Spectrum™ Model© utilizes critical insights -- in conjunction with our extensive experience, knowledge databases and expert network -- to synthesize important and unique opportunities. At this stage in the process, we employ critical creative thinking to identify a number "provisional" opportunities. We then refine and screen down these "provisional" opportunities to the most promising, highest potential opportunities. At this point, the client decides whether to pursue one or multiple opportunities to next stage.
  • Create Solutions - Once the most promising opportunities have been identified, the The Innovation Spectrum™ Model© focuses our extensive, multi-industry technological expertise to create timely and superior solutions which capitalize on the potential these opportunities represent.   • Forge Actions - Turning technology-based solutions into actionable products and packages that can deliver profitable results is the final stage of the Innovation Spectrum™ Model©.
